Biography
Santé D'Amours Fortunato, a Portuguese and French Canadian, began her professional career at the tender age of 12 in Vancouver where she grew up. She has been based in Montreal, QC for the past 4 years where she maintains a hectic schedule as a full time student at the world renowned National Circus School (L’ecole Nationale de Cirque). She also works professionally as a dance teacher, choreographer, model, and circus performer in many different cabarets, and special events.Before leaving for her new life in Montreal, Sante won the Gold Medal with her jazz solo at Dance World Cup, Portugal; overall high score for her hip hop solo at Surrey Festival, and overall high score for her acro solo at Canadian Nationals. Her modern and jazz solos were also selected to represent Canada at Worlds in Boston, and her hip hop was selected for Worlds in Germany. Santé was one of the top Rhythmic Gymnasts in BC, and was ranked 15th in Canada at the National Rhythmic Gymnastic Championships in 2006. Last year she was selected for the Toronto Finals for So You Think You Can Dance Canada and made top 30 girls. She trained 5 days a week 5 hours a day at the National Circus School located right beside the headquarters of Cirque Du Soleil in Montreal specializing in Hula Hoop, Aerial Hoop and Contortion. She is a graduate of 2011.Some of her recent credits include performing as a Contortionist in the Opening Ceremonies of the World Police and Fire Games at GM Place stadium to an audience of 55,000 spectators. Santé was recently a guest artist as a contortionist for the Russian Pavilion at Vancouver 2010 Olympics. She has also performed in many special events with circus companies such as Cirque Eloize.Santé now loves to choreograph, teach, and perform whether to the rhythms of samba, beat of hip hop, melodies of lyrical, or Cirque du Soleil music for acro dance. Santé faced many challenges over the years, but it was her strong willed character and her hard work that strengthened her resolve to reach her goals wherever they may take her.

Santé D'Amours Fortunato, qui est d'origine Portugaise et Canadienne Française, a commencé sa carrière professionnelle à l'âge de 12 ans à Vancouver, où elle a grandit. Basé à Montréal depuis 4 ans, elle étudie le cirque à temps plein à la très fameuse École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal. Elle travaille également dans le milieu de la danse comme enseignante et chorégraphe, est modèle, artiste de cirque dans différents cabarets, et participe fréquemment aux événements spéciaux. Avant de partir pour sa nouvelle vie a Montréal, Santé a gagné une médaille d'or avec son solo de Jazz à la Coupe du Monde de Danse au Portugal, ainsi que la meilleure note au Festival de Surrey pour son solo de hip hop et la meilleure note pour son solo d`acro-danse aux Nationaux du Canada. Son solo de danse Moderne et Jazz a aussi été choisi pour représenter le Canada à la Coupe du Monde à Boston, et son solo de Hip Hop a été choisi pour représenter le Canada à la Coupe du Monde en Allemagne. Santé a été l'une des meilleures en Gymnastique Rythmique en Colombie-Britannique et s'est classée 15e au Canada lors du championnat Nationale de Gymnastique Rythmique de 2006. Elle a été sélectionnée pour les phases finales de So You Think You Can Dance Canada saison 2 à Toronto et elle a été classée parmi les 30 finalistes féminines. Dans L'année 2011, elle a fini son DEC en cirque (diplômes d’études collégiales), qui a duré 4 années. Elle s'est entrainée 5 jours par semaine et 5 heures par jour a L'École Nationale de Cirque qui est localiser côter du quartier général du Cirque de Soleil. Santé Fortunato est une spécialiste en hula hoop, cerceau aérien, et contorsion. Quelqu'un de ces crédits consiste de performer la contorsion à l'ouverture du « World Police and Fire Games » a GM Place Stadium qui a consister d’une audience de 55,000 personnes. Santé était un "guest artist" de cirque pour le pavillon Russie aux Jeux Olympique 2010 à Vancouver. Elle a aussi fait des performances pour plusieurs événements spéciaux pour plusieurs compagnies même Cirque Eloize. Santé maintenant aime performer, faire la chorographie n'est porte ou sa carrière l'amènera. Santé a eu beaucoup de difficultés durant sa vie, mais c’est son caractère fort et l'attitude de travailler fort qui l’a fait encore plus forte et qui l’a fait réussir ses défis.
