Alexandr learned all his diabolo backstage during his 12 years at Cirque du Soleil. 

One day when he was enjoying his time training backstage the artistic director asked him "do you think you could make a diabolo act?" He said "yes" and it was the beginning of him performing as a solo diabolo artist on the Cirque du Soleil stage.
